There are three materials to choose from: walnut wood, oak wood and ash wood.
Waxed
with beeswax. Alone it provides a strong, water-resistant coating for
any wood product, especially those used in kitchens. Beeswax is a
natural, food-safe material.
To clean them, wipe with a damp cloth or with a solution of soapy water.
To keep it in great condition occasionally rub them with mineral or
beeswax.
